Dissolution

A voluntary divorce, commonly known as “no-fault divorce.” The parties voluntarily dissolve their marital contract and voluntarily reach an accord on all issues.

The parties avoid extensive and expensive divorce litigation. Settlements can be negotiated in any of the following ways:

  • By the parties themselves
  • With the assistance of a certified mediator
  • Using the collaborative law process
  • With one party being represented by an attorney
  • With each party being represented by attorneys

Dissolution is an easier, faster, and less-expensive process. The parties are settling their dispute themselves rather than relying upon the Court.
